I studied veterinary spinal manipulation (a.k.a. chiropractic) and recieved my certification from The Healing Oasis Wellness Center in Wisconson. This is the only nationally accredited institution providing programs in integrative veterinary spinal manipulation.
The chiropractic or spinal manipulation that I practice for both small and large animals is
based entirely on functional neurology.
The nervous system is the MASTER system of the entire body! It controls all of the muscles, organs and senses and helps the brain to understand where the body is in time and space. This allows the body to respond with appropriate balance and motion.
The nervous system provides communication between the organs and the brain, keeping the heart and lungs, digestive and detoxification, reproductive and endocrine systems working in balance.
The health of the nervous system depends on nutrition, oxygen and most importantly…… the quantity and quality of information it receives from receptors located all throughout the body.
Chiropractic therapy is receptor based and focuses on restoring areas of the nervous system which have become dysfunctional through trauma, stress, posture, diet, etc.
Therapy is performed very precisely and specifically after a complete physical, neurologic and lameness examination.
