Animal Chiropractic in Orlando

Orlando Cat and Dog Chiropractor

I am a veterinarian and I have studied veterinary spinal manipulation (a.k.a. animal chiropractic) and received my veterinary chiropractic certification from the only nationally accredited institution providing programs in integrative veterinary chiropractic "The Healing Oasis Wellness Center" in Wisconsin.

Dr. ChichraThe animal chiropractic that I practice is based entirely on functional neurology.  I have also completed courses and have attended conferences specifically aimed to increase my knowledge of the neurologic system and to further my education as a cat and dog chiropractor.

The nervous system is the MASTER system of the entire body!  It controls all of the muscles, organs and senses and helps the brain to understand where the body is in time and space. This allows the body to respond with appropriate balance and motion. The nervous system also provides communication between the organs and the brain, keeping the heart and lungs, digestive and detoxification, reproductive and endocrine systems working in balance.

The health of your pets' nervous system depends on nutrition, oxygen and most importantly…… the quantity and quality of information it receives from receptors located all throughout the body. If anything in this system is out of balance it can cause a negative domino effect throughout your pets' whole body. It is imperative that the body and nervous system returns to its balanced state and this is why chiropractic adjustments are so necessary in pets that are out of sync.

Animal chiropractic therapy is receptor based and focuses on restoring areas of the nervous system which have become dysfunctional because of trauma, stress, posture, diet, etc.

Therapy is performed by the animal chiropractor very precisely and specifically after a complete physical and neurologic examination is completed which can ONLY be accurately and competently performed by a licensed veterinarian.

If you have any questions at about pet chiropractic please do not hesitate and call me now. I am your Orlando animal chiropractic specialist and I am here to help.

I offer animal chiropractic treatment in Orlando, Winter Park, Winter Springs, Lake Mary, Oviedo, Altamonte Springs, Maitland, Windermere, Winter Garden, Dr. Philips, Sanford, Longwood, Casselberry, Chuluota, Geneva and surrounding areas.

I firmly believe that if you are looking for someone to perform cat or dog chiropractic services for your pet in Orlando that you find a veterinarian who is a certified animal chiropractor. I also believe that you should seek someone who has completed the additional education to become certified in animal chiropractic from an accredited veterinary chiropractic school.

The skills necessary to view your pets' body systems as a whole is absolutely key to the successful treatment and recovery of your pet. Just being a human chiropractor does not give any of the countless hours of study or background into the vastly complex body system of cats and dogs nor does it give her any extensive training into the multitudes of occurrences that can cause lameness and or other diseases in your pets.
